“I’VE long believed that Mongolia, among wild countries, is the Last Best Place”

— The Economist magazine, 2009

Nestled in the serene and breathtaking beauty of Huvsgul Lake, Mongolia, our family-owned resort has a rich and fascinating history. Originally established in 1980 as a pioneer camp for children during Mongolia's communist era, the camp was later purchased by our grandfather at a public auction in 1998, following Mongolia’s transition to a market economy.

Since then, the resort has been primarily used as a private camp for family and friends, but we have also been honoured to host notable guests including Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah of Kuwait, Ajaa Gegeenten Luvsandtuden, former Prime Minister S. Batbold, and writer and historian Baabar of Mongolia.

We are thrilled to fully open our doors to the public this year, driven by our profound love for Huvsgul Lake and a desire to share its beauty with the world. Our resort provides guests with authentic Mongolian cuisine and a range of activities that highlight the natural magnificence of the region, from exploring the pristine wilderness on horseback to hiking through breathtaking mountains. Guests can also simply relax and unwind. Our expansive 2-hectare estate offers unparalleled seclusion and exclusivity, allowing you to unwind and reconnect with nature in absolute privacy. Join us for an unforgettable retreat amid the mesmerizing allure of Huvsgul Lake.

The lake itself is a true wonder of the natural world, known for its crystal-clear waters and pristine shores. It is said to be one of the purest and least polluted places on earth, with water so clear that you can see up to 40 meters deep. The lake is also one of the seventeen ancient lakes on earth, formed over two million years ago, and is a source of immense pride for the Mongolian people.
